Our Programs

Become a Texas Master Gardener

If you love plants, gardens, just growing things and would like to help members of your community, then perhaps volunteering is right for you.

Need a speaker for your group?

We have trained specialists in many different areas from bugs, bees and pests. Send us an email or call the extension office and we will see what we can do for you.

Annual Tour of Gardens

Our Tour of Gardens has been a huge success since we started in 2003.

Junior Master Gardener Program at Reinhardt Elementary School.

Our program for elementary school kids is in conjunction with the Texas Cooperative extemsion.

Discovery Garden

Our mission is to demonstrate, educate, and grow the interest of gardening with the residents and school children of Rockwall County.

Our Rockwall County Discovery Garden will blend all different types of gardening: formal area displaying a draped arbor, vegetable garden with a pizzia wheel herb garden, a tranquil water garden, and a Southwest style zeriscape garden.

The Rockwall County Master Gardeners Association is a 501C Non-profit Organization.
